Why join Sing People Sing?
Sing People Sing is about bringing people together and sharing a joint love of singing. You don't need to be a professional singer or have any formal experience in singing to join.
We have an informal audition process, just to make sure that there is a base level of ability for our performances. But we're looking for potential, not perfection.

We also have the honour of having a wonderful Patron in the shape of West End and Broadway performer and director Ben Goddard. Ben is a tour de force when it comes to performing and each year runs term-time masterclasses and the famous SPS Summer School.
What it's like at SPS...
At Sing People Sing, we want everyone to enjoy singing with us. Our weekly rehearsals are packed full of love, laughs and a bucket load of learning new songs and singing techniques.

We rehearse in Southbourne on Wednesdays at 7.30pm-9.30pm (followed by a drink at Ludo Lounge for anyone who wants to join)

You don't need to read sheet music (but we usually provide it for anyone who finds it helpful for learning)

We accept new members at the beginning of each term

Our terms run from January to March, April to July, and September to December.

Membership is paid per term in full at a cost of £7.95 per week

Every term we try and organise public performances, where possible
How to join
1.
Choose a song to sing
Pick a song that you love and that you think shows of your singing ability.
2.
Submit your video audition
Record yourself singing a chorus or verse of your song and send it to Nicole.
3.
Try us out with a trial
If accepted, you'll be invited to a 3-week trial so you can experience SPS for yourself.
4.
Officially join SPS!
If you enjoy your SPS trial, you can sign up for the rest of the term and keep singing!
